Inflation Hasn't Affected The Price Of Salvation

The mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is to be Christ's church, sharing the gospel through word and deed, working for justice, peace, and compassion, and equipping believers to live out their faith globally and locally, often summarized as "taking the gospel into all the world" and bearing witness to Christ's love, focusing on areas like compassion, racial equity, evangelism, and world mission

The Clerk of Session is an elected ruling elder responsible for being the official record-keeper and secretary for the church's governing body. Their key duties include recording meeting minutes, maintaining membership rolls and vital registers (baptisms, marriages), ensuring procedural accuracy according to the Book of Order, assisting the pastor with meeting agendas, and facilitating communication with higher church bodies. Essentially, they preserve the church's history and maintain order and accountability.

Elders have responsibilities in leadership, governance, and worship. They discern God’s calling for the life of a congregation and measure its faithfulness to that call.

Deacons embody acts of care, compassion, and service. While they often undertake ministries of feeding, visitation, prayer, and hospitality, they can also fulfill other acts of service within the church and its surrounding community.
